Warrior's Day at the CNE

Surprisingly, the temperature for Warrior's day was quite pleasant (the last several have been blazingly hot). We marched through the enthusiastic crowds at the opening weekend of the C.N.E, complete with a new tenor drummer and a guest drum major!

Following the parade we retired to the Fort York Armouries for a little "refreshment" at the various Officer's Messes and a few jam sessions with other bands!

The crowd cheered for our renditions of "Hell's Kitchen" and our "Duncan the Gauger" Jig set. Given that we've had a relatively long break between gigs (three whole weeks), the pipe and drums were in perfect tone!

On that note (ah the puns), your friendly neighbourhood webmaster is off to go cycling for a week or two. Play nice on the website :)
