Warrior's Day 2005

Black Water once again marched in the Warrior's Day parade at the CNE. This is held each year on the opening weekend, to honour our veterans. It is a honour and a noble event to parade proudly with the fine men and women that served our country (and a few U.S vets as well!).

Unlike the crazy storm the day before, the weather co-operated with us and the temperature was pretty good for a parade! And no crazy dust storms in the Colliseum. That's good too.

On a lighter note, we finally got Kenny in a picture! Yay! Click on the photo to see a gallery from the parade at the CNE. Super Extra-Special Thanks to our photographer, Olivia, who also ended up marching with us, to carry our "number flagpole" for the announcers! Next time we get you a kilt!

Hey WAIT up 614!

The rain held off...mostly, and the 15th Annual Tattoo at the Legion 614 was a great success. Somehow the start time for the parade was changed from 12:30 to 12:00. Luckily, most of us showed up — some of us running to catch the band as we right wheeled onto the street!

Big thank you to the crowds that turned out to brave the Scottish "mist"!
